SINGER and former mayor of Teignmouth Ian Parkes provided the entertainment at the weekly gathering at the renamed Riverside Centre in Dawlish.

Organised by Liz Wedlake, the Wednesday afternoon sessions are enjoyed by members of the over 60s club at the former Hedley Way Centre which has recently been taken over by Dawlish Town Council.

Club members enthusiastically joined in as Ian sang a selection of much-loved songs from the 1950s and 1960s. Read the story in this week’s Gazette.
